Drafts and downloads
The maker runs on your device. Typed titles and body text are not sent to us or to Google Analytics, placed in the page URL, or stored in an account. Drafts are held in memory and disappear on refresh. Downloads are generated locally; your browser saves the files according to its settings.
Optional site analytics
Google Analytics 4 loads only if you choose Allow analytics. We send the public page path, a cleaned referrer origin and fixed events for starting the maker or downloading a template, SVG or text. We do not send your draft, contact details or arbitrary query strings. Google processes browser/device information and IP addresses to operate Analytics and derive coarse location. Its handling differs by region; outside the EU, Switzerland and UK, Google says raw IP addresses are discarded after use and not associated with user identifiers. This property is not linked to Google Ads. Analytics cookies can persist for up to 180 days.
Advertising features and enhanced measurement are disabled for this site. Refusing analytics does not affect the tool. Use Cookie choices in the footer to change your decision. Withdrawing disables collection and removes this site's accessible Google Analytics cookies; it cannot erase data already received by Google.
Hosting and contact
Cloudflare hosts the website and can process normal web request data such as IP addresses and request URLs for delivery and security. If you email us, your address and message are handled by the email services used to deliver and answer it. Do not email confidential information.
Your choice record
A local browser entry remembers your analytics choice for up to 180 days. It contains the choice and its date, not your zine. Browser storage restrictions can prevent it from being remembered.
